Arkansas Carry

Today I carried my 1911 OWB and noticed two things. The pistol was just as concealed as IWB with the clothes I normally wear and I was way more comfortable without a gun stuffed in the waist band of my pants. The holster I was using was a JBP I bought a few years ago and never really used, after today I think I will use it much more often.

Before I sold my P97, I carried it OWB in a Fobus paddle, with two magazines on my weak side. It was very comfortable, just heavy after a long day.

I won't "out" anybody here, but I know someone who carries a 1911 OWB very often and, I believe, has done so for quite some time.

I OWB with a Sigma 40 in a Blackhawk paddle every day that I can wear a jacket or shirt over it. Concealed means that you can see it!

My little P380 would tuck into a nice little holster and be no larger than am Iphone holder.

I sometimes carry a G-22 OWB, tho mostly carry my G-27. I've tried some IWB, but am not very comfortable w/it.

I don't have a good OWB holster for concealed carry at this time. I feel like my shirts are baggy enough when I go untucked without having to have the extra length to cover a firearm that would be outside my pants. With IWB, my pants conceal most of the gun, the shirt just has to be long enough to cover the rest.
