Additional Information
I will be teaching another Basic Defensive Shotgun class at DTI in Roland, Ar, on August 25th. The class will run from 8:30am until about 5:00pm. The last class went well and filled up, so reserve your slot soon.
Covered topics will include:
-equipment considerations
-loading/unloading techniques
-scan process
-fundamental marksmanship
-recoil management technique
-basics of patterning
-ballistic considerations
-liabilty of mutiple projectile rounds
-tactical & combat loading
-basic shooting positions
-use of cover
-Rolling Thunder Drill
Equipment Needs:
-Reliable 12ga or 20ga pump or semi-auto shotgun (and a spare if you have one in case one breaks)
-200 rounds of birdshot
-50 rounds of buckshot
-Eye & Ear Protection
-Sunscreen
-Water/Drinks, etc.
-Bag Lunch/Snacks, etc.
-Weather appropriate clothing (only lightening or a well placed tornado will keep us off the range)
-Knee pads if desired (range deck is gravel)

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to register your slot in the class. The remainder of the class fee ($50) will be due at the beginning of class on January 19th. The deposit is used to buy course materials and student items that have to be ordered before the course date.
Should the class be canceled because of a conflict on my end or weather conditions, deposits will be refunded or the student given a slot in a rescheduled class at the student's discretion.
Students who have already taken the Basic course and want to repeat only have to pay the $50 deposit.
